Delete your account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Where's The Show account and the data that goes with it — whether or not you still have the app installed. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

The fastest way — in the app

1. Open Where's The Show and go to the Account screen.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

That's it — your account and data are removed immediately.

Without the app

Email hello@wherestheshow.app with the subject line "Delete my account." Send the request from the email address on your account — sign-in is passwordless, so that's how we verify the request is really yours. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send it from that relay address or include your @username so we can find the account.

Requests are processed within 30 days (usually much sooner), and we'll confirm by reply when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — email address, username, and display name
• Saved shows and favorite venues
• Friend connections and pending friend requests
• Shows shared with you and shares you sent
• Push-notification tokens, notification preferences, and notification history
• Your sign-in record

What we keep

• Feedback and event-data corrections or flags you may have submitted are retained in anonymized form — they contain no personal information, are no longer linked to any account, and help keep show listings accurate.
• Routine server logs (technical data such as IP addresses) age out automatically.
